Punjab rises qualification for Up-Ved course to 12th
Chandigarh, November 5: Punjab Government has decided to raise the qualification for D-Pharmacy (Up-Ved) from 10th to 12th. It was disclosed by Medical Education and Research Minister Anil Joshi in a press communiqué released here today.
Joshi said that the delegation of Government Ayurvedic and Unani Up-Ved Union, Punjab has demanded to fix 12th as basic qualification for the course of D Pharmacy (Up-Ved). He said that in the neighboring states of Haryana, Himacahl Pradesh the basic qualification for this course is 12th. He said that the students in Punjab have not been getting proper employment opportunities as the qualification is 10th. Mr. Joshi said that in this background the Punjab government has decided to raise the basic qualification for this course from 10th to 12th.
