Punjab launches free health care scheme for BPL families
Fazilka (Pb), Nov 11 (PTI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today launched a cashless health care scheme for BPL families, which would provide free medical services of up to Rs 30,000 per annum.
Under the Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Beema Yojna (BPSSBY), the beneficiaries will be issued smart cards which will enable them to avail free medical services, the Chief Minister said, adding that his government has roped in leading insurance firms to implement the scheme in the state.

ਇਸ ਮੋਕੇ ਡਾ ਗੁਨਦੀਪ ਕੋਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਤੁੰਲਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਹੈ , ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਸਤੰਲਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਦਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀੜੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਉਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀ ਲਗਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਦੀ ਹੈ । ਬੱਚਿਆ ਦਾ ਆਮ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਨੌਹਾ ਰਾਹੀ ਜਾ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੱਥ ਧੋਤੇ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀੜੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆ ਸਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਧੋ ਕੇ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਣ ਦੀ ਆਦਤ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ । ਬੱਚਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਨੰਗੇ ਪੈਰੀ ਘੁਮਣ ਤੋ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ । ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋ ਚਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਵਿਫਸ ਪ੍ਰਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਹਰ ਬੁਧਵਾਰ 6ਤੋ 12 ਵੀ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ (ਮੁੰਡੇ ਤੇ ਕੁੜੀਆ ) ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਨਾ ਜਾਦੀਆ ਅਗਨਵਾੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕਿਸੋਰੀਆਂ ( 10 ਤੋ 19 ਸਾਲ ) ਨੂੰ ਅਇਰਨ ਫੋਲਿਕ ਐਸਿਡ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀ ਖਿਲਾਈ ਜਾਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਜੋ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੂਨ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ । ਸਕੂਲੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਗਨਵਾੜੀ ਵਰਕਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲੀ ਪੇਟ ਗੋਲੀ ਨਾ ਖਾਵਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਲੋ ਵੀ ੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ।
